Welcome to College Park

Our community is made up of some of the finest local retailers, award winning restaurants, and small businesses found in Central Florida. The community pride can be felt at any one of our popular annual events, that help bring alive the vibrancy, optimism, and shared values of College Park.

David and Yvette Sanborn, David's World Cycle
David and Yvette Sanborn are truly living The American Dream.
David's World Cycle, one of College Park's beloved businesses, began 26 years ago when David dropped out of high school to take advantage of an opportunity to do what he loves. He was a high school junior when World Cycle was going out of business. David was an avid cyclist and a manager at the store. With his parents permission and loans and gifts from grandparents, he dropped out of high school, earned his GED and opened "David's World Cycle."
There are now 12 David's World Cycle locations in Central Florida and Tampa. The College Park location is the flagship store. David's is a Trek retailer and has close ties with the Trek company. Last month,Jens Voigt, a recently retired member of the Trek Factory Racing team, came to David's World Cycle where more than 450 people got the chance to meet him and hear him speak. Voigt is now a commentator for Le Tour De France and loves nothing more than to see people ride bikes.
Aside from being an awesome local business here in College Park, David's World Cycle takes opportunities to give back. Every year, the shop is a sponsor of the Tour De Cure by American Diabetes Association. This event raises money to find a cure to diabetes, something close to David's heart. They also put together a team for the Ride for Ronald, a ride that raises money for the Ronald McDonald house here in Orlando.
David and his wife, Yvette, have lived and College Park for 10 years and love everything about it. Yvette said College Park is "our own little slice of heaven." She loves that everything she needs is right here- the grocery store, post office, their favorite breakfast joint. With the addition of the Bike Share program, she loves that now everyone can get around College Park on a bike even if they don't own one.
Dancing on the Drive is a favorite CP event of the Sanborns, but Yvette had a hard time choosing because she said all of the street party events are fun!
Dancing on the Drive 2015 was a blast!
Thank you to all of our sponsors and community members that made this event such a success.
The College Park Partnership will lead, champion, and inspire the development of College Park into a thriving community of residences, workplaces, businesses, and retailers actively engaged in creating a rich quality of life for all who work, play, and live here.
